The Expression of Asking Help

  • Formal:

“Could you please assist me with preparing for the job interview?”

“Would you mind guiding me through the interview process?”

  • Informal:

“Can you help me get ready for the interview?”

“Could you walk me through what the interview will be like?”

The Expression of Offering Help

  • Formal:

“I am at your service if you require any assistance in preparing for the interview.”

“If there’s anything I can do to support you during the interview, please don’t hesitate to ask.”

  • Informal:

“I’m here to help you get ready for the interview if you need it.”

“Just let me know if you want any help before the interview.”

Responding to Offering of Help

  1. Accepting
  • Formal:

“Thank you for your kind offer. I appreciate your assistance in preparing for the interview.”

“That would be greatly appreciated. Your support means a lot.”

  • Informal:

“Thanks a lot! I’d love some help getting ready.”

“Sure, I could use some help. Thanks!”

  1. Refusing
  • Formal:

“Thank you for your offer, but I believe I have everything I need.”

“I’m grateful for your willingness to assist, but I’ll manage on my own.”

  • Informal:

“I appreciate it, but I think I’m good for now.”

“It’s kind of you to offer, but I’ll be okay without help.”
